Ian Atkinson

Ian Atkinson is a highly experienced Senior Patent Attorney, currently serving at Johnson Matthey since April 2019. Prior to this role, Atkinson held similar positions at UDL from February 2017 to April 2019 and at Element Six from April 2010 to February 2017, where Atkinson worked as IP Manager. Starting in the patent field at PAGE WHITE & FARRER from September 2001 to February 2010, Atkinson built a strong foundation in intellectual property law. Academically, Atkinson holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Physics and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry with New Materials Technology, both obtained from the University of Aberdeen.
