Roberta Villamaina

Roberta Villamaina is an accomplished Senior R&D Scientist at Johnson Matthey, focusing on clean air and emission control since September 2019. Prior to this role, Roberta served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Politecnico di Milano from March 2017 to August 2019, specializing in NOx control through ammonia selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems for diesel vehicles. Additionally, Roberta contributed as a teaching assistant in the Process and Control and Instrumentation Laboratory for the Chemical Engineering master’s degree program. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Politecnico di Milano, earned between 2015 and 2019, alongside a Master’s degree and Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, completed in 2015 and 2012, respectively.
