Kirsten Munro

Kirsten Munro serves as the Senior Director of Development at The Joyce Theater Foundation, Inc. since September 2023. Concurrently, Kirsten has been an Adjunct Faculty member at Teachers College, Columbia University, and New York University since 2015 and 2011, respectively. Previous experience includes roles such as Development Lead at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (2022-2023), Director of Development at Baryshnikov Arts Center (2013-2022), and various positions at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, including Director of Grants (2007-2013). Other notable positions include Director of Institutional Funding at Brooklyn Botanic Garden (2000-2007), Assistant Director of Institutional Giving at Cooper Union for Advancement of Science and Art (1998-2000), and Program Officer at Foundation for a Civil Society (1995-1998). Kirsten Munro holds an M.Sc. in Political Theory from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a B.A. in Politics from Pomona College.
