Matthew Hinerfeld

Matthew Hinerfeld has extensive legal experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as General Counsel at Jump Trading LLC since October 2011. Previously, Matthew held the position of General Counsel at Teza Technologies LLC and served as Chief Legal Officer at Magnetar Capital. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Citadel Investment Group as Managing Director & Deputy General Counsel and litigation-focused positions at Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP, and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. Early in Matthew's career, a law clerk role was completed for Judge Robert F. Peckham at the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. Matthew earned a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School and an AB in English & American Literature from Harvard University.
