Peter Lind has a diverse work experience in various positions and industries. Peter began their career in 1980 as the Director of Environmental Services at ServiceMaster, where they worked until 1987. Peter then moved on to become the Director of Environmental Services at Kaiser Permanente South San Francisco Ca. from 1987 to 1990. Following this, Peter joined Kaiser Permanente Stockton Ca. in 1990 as the Director of Environmental Services until 1995. In 1993, they also served as the Region 9 Representative at ASHES. Finally, Peter became the President of JumpStart Inc. in 1995, where they currently hold this role.

Peter Lind started their education in 1972 at Chabot College, where they pursued a General Ed program. Peter then transferred to CSU Chico in 1974 and completed a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching in 1976. In 1977, Peter attended San Jose State University and obtained a Teaching Credential in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching in 1978.

In doing this work, JumpStart focuses on economic inclusion and activities that increase the success of minority and women entrepreneurs in growing high impact companies. As Northeast Ohio’s entrepreneurial landscape continues to transform, JumpStart collaborates with community and regional leaders nationally to support the startup and development of high growth businesses that have a significant and sustainable impact on the economy.
