Eric Johnson

Eric Johnson is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and project management within the energy sector. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Kairos Power since April 2022, Eric has previously held key roles at various companies, including Project Engineer at UECompression and Senior Mechanical Engineer at LightSail Energy, where Eric led the design of a DOT and ABS approved Multiple Element Gas Container for transporting compressed natural gas. With a background that includes leading mechanical design at Nuvera Fuel Cells and project management at H2Gen Innovations, Eric has demonstrated expertise in hydrogen generation and compression, as well as custom gas recycling systems. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
