Ajamian Gardner

Ajamian Gardner is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Interim Building Principal at Kalamazoo Public Schools since August 2023, following an eight-year tenure as Assistant Principal. Prior to this, Ajamian held roles as a Youth Director at Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a Behavioral Interventionist at Kalamazoo Public Schools, where responsibilities included developing youth programs and implementing positive behavior strategies. Ajamian also served as Head Men's Junior Varsity Basketball Coach, focusing on skill development and promoting character through sports. With a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from The University of Olivet, Ajamian has demonstrated a commitment to educational excellence and community engagement throughout an extensive career.
