Kalundborg Refinery
Lars Meyer is an experienced professional in the engineering and construction sectors, currently serving as Afdelingsleder at Kalundborg Refinery since May 2018, with prior leadership roles in support of Equinor. With a tenure at Statoil spanning from January 2004 to present, Lars has held positions including Senior Engineer and Construction Leader, managing modifications and supervising mechanical jobs. Earlier experience includes mechanical engineering at Novo Nordisk A/S, where Lars focused on repairing pumps and valves, and a range of technical roles at Statoil, L-H rørbyg, and GBC, involving welding, pipe fitting, and crane operation. Lars completed education in mechanical workshop studies at Frode H. Christiansen from 1990 to 1994, alongside earlier education at various institutions, culminating in a strong foundation in engineering and mechanical work.

Kalundborg Refinery
We are Kalundborg Refinery, a Danish energy company, with more than 350 engaged employees. We are the largest oil refinery in Denmark processing approximately 5.5 million tonnes of crude oil, condensate and feedstock per year and has a tank capacity of 1.2 million m3. The refinery produces naphtha, petrol, diesel, fuel oil and heavy fuel. Our primary markets are Denmark and Scandinavia.
