Laura Cook

Laura Cook has over a decade of experience in educational technology and project coordination, currently serving as the School Leadership Technology Support Coordinator at Katy ISD since March 2014. In this role, Laura has developed expertise in behavioral threat assessment and mental health software solutions, which includes the creation of three apps and five dashboards to enhance student safety and support. Previous positions include Senior IT Project Coordinator and Technology Customer Services Specialist, where Laura achieved significant cost savings for the district. With a background spanning administrative and community relations roles at institutions such as MD Anderson Cancer Center and Fort Bend Independent School District, Laura combines strong project management skills with a commitment to improving educational environments. Laura holds a Regents Diploma in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Katharine Gibbs School.
