Heather Cameron

Heather Cameron is a distinguished academic and consultant, currently serving as the Micheal B Kaufman Professor of Practice for Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Washington University in St. Louis since August 2016. In addition to this role, Cameron is a board member at Eclarity.io, focusing on enhancing vocational training through AI in the Ed Tech sector, and a member of the Director's Advisory Committee at the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum in St. Louis. Cameron also contributes as a member of the Board of Advisors for Passback, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing sports gear to underserved communities, and serves as an external examiner at The University of Hong Kong. As a primary investigator with the Kauffman Foundation, Cameron explores innovative ways to support Black and Latinx entrepreneurs. With a robust background in advisory roles for organizations like UN Women and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Cameron combines expertise in social entrepreneurship and education with a strong academic foundation, including multiple degrees from York University and a postdoctoral award from Technische Universität Berlin.
