Cosmas Kimario has a solid background in the banking sector, starting as an FX & Money Market Dealer at the Bank of Tanzania in 1995. Cosmas then moved up the ladder to work as a Regional Head of Treasury at Citi before taking on roles at Standard Chartered Bank and the National Housing Corporation. Cosmas later became the CEO of Twiga Bancorp Limited before joining KCB Bank Group as the Managing Director of KCB Tanzania and eventually becoming the Group Director of Regional Businesses.
Cosmas Kimario completed their Advanced Certificate Secondary Education at Mazengo High School from 1986 to 1988. Cosmas then went on to earn a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) between 1991 and 1994.
