Rafael Alonso Clarke has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Rafael is currently working as a Sr. Business Development Manager at Keepler Data Tech, where they are responsible for consultative selling of public Cloud Data and Analytics Solutions. In this role, they deploy advanced tools and practices for Data Governance, Big Data architectures, and Advanced Analytics/Machine Learning products. Prior to their current position, Rafael worked as a Business Development Manager - Artificial Intelligence at MedLab Media Group, where they focused on strategy, positioning, and business plan development for AI solutions. Rafael also served as a Professor of Big Data Analytics at IE Business School, where they taught from 2018 to 2020. Before that, Rafael was a Business Development Manager - Machine Learning at intelygenz, where they led the sales and marketing of Artificial Intelligence BU for predictive business solutions. Rafael has also worked as a Consultant, collaborating with technology and services companies to develop solutions for decision-making based on data. Additionally, Rafael has experience as a Product Manager at Baxter International Inc. and Philips, where they were responsible for marketing, sales, and business development. Rafael has a background in research as well, having worked as a Research Manager at the Alzheimer Center - Reina Sofia Foundation and as a Researcher at San Raffaele Hospital. Overall, Rafael possesses a strong background in business development, AI, big data analytics, and product management.
Rafael Alonso Clarke's education history begins with their Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, which they completed from 1995 to 2001. Rafael then pursued a Master's degree in Bio-Engineering from Politecnico di Milano between 2001 and 2003. Later on, in 2007 and 2008, they attended IE Business School to earn an International MBA.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Rafael has obtained several certifications. In October 2018, they acquired the SCRUM MANAGER certification from Scrum Manager. In November 2018, they obtained the PRODUCT OWNER certification from the same institution. More recently, in March 2021, they completed the MACHINE LEARNING - ANDREW NG (STANFORD) course from Coursera. Their most recent certification is in Consultoría de Ventas, which they obtained from Sales Business School in July 2022.
