Sorette Smith

Sorette Smith is an experienced HR professional currently serving as HR Director at Kemin Industries since January 2015, having previously held the roles of HR Manager and Senior HR Specialist within the company, focusing on business partnership and HR support for Sub Saharan Africa. Prior to Kemin, Sorette worked as Regional Personnel Manager for The Shoprite Group of Companies, overseeing the human resources function for OK Furniture across multiple regions. Sorette's career began in the retail sector with a role as Retail Associate at Asda, followed by a position as Contract Creditors Clerk at Sasol Solvents and O&S South Africa. Sorette holds a Master's Degree and BA Hons in Industrial Psychology, a BA Hons in Clinical Psychology, and a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, all from North-West University.
