Robert Balarezo is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in back-end development and software engineering. Currently a back-end developer at Kenect since January 2019, Robert specializes in microservices using Java, Spring, and Quarkus, and has developed integrations with third-party systems via Rest APIs. From April 2017 to the present, Robert has also worked as a software developer for Jobsity, contributing to projects such as a Python/Django app for Hearst and enhancing a microservice for content syndication. Prior experience includes a role as a back-end developer at Bantec S.A., where Robert was involved in the development of a core banking system using the JavaEE platform. Robert holds a degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad San Francisco de Quito, completed in 2013.
