Jeff Hallam

Jeff Hallam is an accomplished academic and administrator with extensive experience in higher education. Since July 2013, Jeff has served as the Director, Professor, and Senior Associate Dean for Research and Global Affairs at Kent State University, after holding various leadership roles including Co Director, Professor and Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies, and Professor and Chair of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Prior to this, Jeff was a Professor and Director at the University of Mississippi from August 1999 to June 2013 and worked as an Assistant Professor at Baylor University from August 1997 to June 1999. Jeff began an academic career as a Visiting Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University from August 1995 to June 1997. Education includes a PhD in Health Promotion and a Master of Arts in Sport Management with a focus on Fitness Administration, both obtained from The Ohio State University.
