Kristy McCarthy, MBA, currently serves as an Organ Quality Assurance Specialist at Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates since March 2022. Prior to this role, Kristy worked as a Risk Management Analyst at Brown-Forman from January 2021 to March 2022 and held various positions at Humana between October 2008 and January 2021, including PEO Underwriting Consultant and Large Group Underwriting Analyst. Earlier experience includes a position as a Financial Planner/Branch Sales and Service Consultant at National City Bank from May 2003 to October 2008 and Resource Floor Coordinator/Resource Management roles at SEARS CREDIT from June 1998 to May 2003. Kristy holds an MBA from McKendree University and a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Western Kentucky University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Louisville.

KODA was formed to establish a statewide educational and procurement network. KODA is an independent, non-profit organ and tissue procurement agency.
