Joel Shumsky

Joel Shumsky is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in electrical engineering and product development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Technical Services at Keystone Technologies since 2017, Joel has also held positions as Engineering Manager and Design Engineer within the same company. Prior experience includes a tenure at Lutron Electronics from 2012 to 2017, where roles included Design & Development Electrical Engineer, Senior Project Electrical Engineer, and Project Electrical Engineer, focusing on innovative lighting control systems and electrical design. Joel’s earlier work as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland involved investigating biological neural networks. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and completed high school at Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community High School.
