M.D. Jahirul Islam

Md Jahirul Islam is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in teaching and research. Currently a Professor at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology since April 2009, Md Jahirul Islam has held various academic positions including Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, focusing on undergraduate education, thesis, and laboratory supervision. Additionally, since March 2013, Md Jahirul Islam has served as a Lecturer and PhD researcher at The University of Sydney. Md Jahirul Islam holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Optics/Optical Sciences and Photonics from The University of Sydney (2013-2016), and has earned multiple degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, including a Master of Science and a Bachelor's degree from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology. Early education includes studies at Govt. Sundarban Adarsha College and Dakshin Bedkashi High School in Khulna.
