Liam Shannon

Liam Shannon, PE, currently serves as a Project Manager and Civil Engineer at Kimley-Horn since June 2021, leading a team of 8 engineers within a 14-member Development Services - Residential team. Prior to this, Liam held positions at Dewberry from June 2015 to June 2021, including Project Engineer and Staff Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed infrastructure improvements, hydrologic and hydraulic studies, dam breach analysis, and asset management evaluations utilizing various engineering software. Earlier experience included roles as a Graduate Engineer focused on large-scale residential and mixed-use developments, and internships at Huntington Ingalls Industries, Virginia Tech, and AES Consulting Engineers, where foundational skills in surveying, design, and site planning were developed. Liam earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2015.
