Terra Walker

Terra Walker is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools since June 2014, currently serving as Chief People Officer. Prior positions at KIPP include Head of Schools, Leadership, School Principal, Director of Advocacy and Parent Engagement, and Director of Operations. Previously, Terra contributed to Atlanta Public Schools as an Assistant Principal and served in similar capacities at Gwinnett County Public Schools and Orange County Public Schools, in addition to working as a Literacy/Instructional Coach. Terra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Florida, a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University, and an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University.
