Enrique Solano has a diverse work experience in the field of quantum physics and quantum computing. Enrique is currently serving as the Chief Visionary Officer at Kipu Quantum and as the Founder and CEO at Quanvia. Previously, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Ikerbasque and as the Director of QuArtist Center at Shanghai University. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of QUTIS Center at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea. Enrique also served as an IQM Co-Design Advisor and CEO of IQM Germany at IQM Quantum Computers. In addition, they worked as a Research Scientist at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics, where they contributed to both the Theory Division and the Laser Physics Division.
Enrique Solano pursued their education from 1997 to 2000 at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. During this period, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the field of study focused on Trapped ions for quantum technologies.
