Rafael Carvalho

Rafael Carvalho has worked in various roles across a number of companies. Rafael began their career in 2011 as an Ex-Fellow at Fundação Estudar. In 2013, they held the role of Investment Analyst Intern at Redpoint eVentures Brazil and Software Developer Intern at Kauplus. From 2014 to 2022, they worked at Nubank, where they held various roles such as Director, Head of Credit and Analytics at Nu MX, Sr. Business Analyst Manager - Credit Strategy Squad Lead, Business Analyst Manager - Valuations & Monitoring, Senior Business Analyst - Collections, Senior Business Analyst - Growth, Business Analyst - Credit Risk, and Business Analyst - Decision Sciences. Most recently, they were appointed Chief Analytics Officer at Klar in 2022.

Rafael Carvalho obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electric and Electronics Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA between 2009 and 2013. Rafael is also a Level III Candidate in the CFA Program from the CFA Institute.
