Ajay Sharma

Ajay Sharma is an experienced Water Infrastructure Engineer currently serving as the Lead and Copper Rule Data Management Lead at Kleinfelder since February 2022. With a strong background in environmental engineering, Ajay worked as a Project Engineer at M.J. Engineering and Land Surveying, P.C., where responsibilities included supporting water/wastewater projects and preparing design calculations. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Project Engineer at the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, managing extensive wastewater treatment and drinking water system projects. Ajay’s early career included internships at various organizations, such as ThisSongSlaps.com, IEEE, the Port Authority of NY & NJ, and the Center for Natural Resources Development and Protection, providing valuable skills in project management, data analysis, and technical communication. Ajay holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a high school diploma from Edison High School.
