Francois Leroy is a seasoned procurement and supply chain professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Group Procurement Category Manager at Knauf Insulation since January 2024, Francois previously held key positions at 3B-the fiberglass company, where responsibilities included Supply Chain & IT Director and Supply Chain Director from November 2007 to January 2024, focusing on supply chain processes and productivity improvements. Prior to that, Francois was with Owens Corning from June 1994 to 2007, overseeing sourcing strategies across Europe and Asia Pacific, as well as global chemical sourcing for the composites business. Earlier career experience includes roles as Purchasing Manager and Quality Manager at Hexcel Corporation from March 1986 to May 1994. Francois holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from HEPL - Haute Ecole de la Province de Liège, earned between 1981 and 1985.
