Parvez Mohammed is a seasoned professional in retail design and project management with extensive experience across various companies and roles. Currently serving as the Retail Design and Delivery Manager at Knowledge Economic City since September 2023, Parvez previously held the position of Design Manager for KSA and Bahrain at Majid Al Futtaim, where responsibilities included the design development of key entertainment projects. Prior to this, Parvez worked at Arabian Centres as a Fit-Out Manager and Project Manager for the Jeddah Park Mall, and at Landmark Group as an Assistant Manager overseeing store design and fit-outs for multiple retail brands. Early career experience includes architectural roles with Arkonsult Engineering Consultancy, PSV Architects, and V K Thyagarajan and Associates, contributing to significant hospitality and commercial projects. Parvez holds a Bachelor of Architecture from RV College of Engineering and a Diploma in Architecture from Impact College of Engineering.
Knowledge Economic City
Knowledge Economic City (KEC) is a publically listed company that was established for the purpose of developing and managing the delivery of the Knowledge Economic City Project. The company was formally public listed in in the Saudi Stock Market in August 2010 following a successful IPO earlier that year. KEC is strategically located in Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah (Madinah), home of the Prophet Mohammed P.B.U.H and where the Holy Qur’an was compiled. Millions of Muslims from all over the world visit Madinah during the Hajj season as well as Umrah season. KEC was first announced in June 2006 as one of 4 economic cities envisioned to support the Kingdom’s drive towards economic diversity and job creation.
