Alexander Taratorin

Alexander Taratorin is a highly experienced professional in the field of magnetic recording and physics, currently serving as a Scientific Fellow at Kodiak Sciences since October 2021. Previously, Alexander held various senior roles, including Fellow at Western Digital, where management of magnetic recording applications and advanced measurement was a key responsibility. With a background as a Recording Technologist at HGST, a western digital brand, and as a Principal Scientist at Integral Solutions International, expertise includes the development of measurement and characterization techniques for magnetic recording. Alexander's career also comprises research positions at Hitachi GST and IBM, focusing on magnetic recording and physics research. Alexander's early work at Guzik Technical Enterprises involved developing testing and measurement equipment, and academic roles at Technion and the Institute of Radioengineering and Electronics emphasized biomedical physics research and education. Alexander earned a PhD in Physics from the Russian Academy of Sciences.
