Marcus Näslund has held a variety of roles throughout their career. Marcus began their career in 2007 as a Soccer Referee for Dalarnas Fotbollsförbund. In 2011, they took on an Office Assistant role at Länsförsäkringar. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Uppsala University, a Project Manager at Mattecentrum, and a Mathematics Consultant at SVT. In 2015, they became a Software Developer at Imint Vidhance (IMINT Image Intelligence AB), where they were responsible for developing algorithms for high-performance video technologies and reviewing C/C++ code. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Klarna, and from 2020 to 2022, they were a Kursledare (Teacher) at Nordlo Utbildning AB. Currently, they are a Full Stack Engineer at Kognity.
Marcus Näslund attained a Gymnasieexamen from VBU Högbergsskolan in the Teknikprogrammet field of study from 2007 to 2010. Marcus then went on to Uppsala University for a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics and Computer Science from 2010 to 2013. Finally, they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computational Science from Uppsala University from 2013 to 2015.
