Alan Komisarcik is a Senior Product Engineer at Koning Corporation, where since October 2017, responsibilities include supporting mechanical product development projects aimed at enhancing the breast CT diagnosis machine. Previously, Alan worked as an R&D Engineer at the Georgia Institute of Technology, focusing on developing a prototype for interventional cardiology, and at the University of Virginia Health System, where Alan led the design of a device to combat antibiotic-resistant biofilms. Alan also has experience in academic settings as an Applied Mathematics Grader and an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Virginia. Alan holds a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Innovation and Development from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
