Amaya Lim

Amaya Lim is an experienced professional currently serving as a Data Engineering Intern at KQED, focused on building tools to analyze civic media engagement. In addition, Amaya holds a role as a Cultural Incubator Fellow with Gray Area, working on innovative projects related to social media and technology. Previously, Amaya gained data analytics and management experience as a Data Analyst Intern at FireUp and worked as a Venue Coordinator at UC Berkeley Event Services, managing complex events. Additional experience includes serving as a House Manager for Another Planet Entertainment and Cal Performances, where Amaya oversaw large-scale events and staff management. Early career experience comprises a Data Analyst Intern position at Kittelson & Associates, Inc., tutoring during the pandemic, and an internship at Distill Mill LLC with a focus on web development. Amaya holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Data Science and Society & Environment from the University of California, Berkeley.
