Leah MacHlin

Leah Machlin currently serves as Scientist II at Kriya Therapeutics, Inc., having advanced through roles such as Scientist I and Associate Scientist within the company since March 2022. Previous experience includes Research Associate III at BridgeBio, where responsibilities included supporting gene therapy initiatives through AAV production and analytical work. Leah has also held positions at Element Genomics, where project leadership on knockout gRNA pooled libraries and high-throughput screening validation was key, and at Duke University as a Master of Engineering student in Biomedical Engineering. Educational credentials include a Master of Engineering from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami, both in Biomedical Engineering, complemented by leadership roles in the Society of Women Engineers.
