Mark Pimentel is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in quantitative trading and research within the cryptocurrency and traditional equity markets. As a Co-Founder of Kronos Research since June 2018, Mark has played a pivotal role in establishing a multi-strategy proprietary trading firm. In addition, Mark co-founded WOO Network in September 2019, a cryptocurrency liquidity network incubated by Kronos Research, and serves as a supporter for Orderly Network, a decentralized trading infrastructure since April 2022. Mark’s prior roles include Head of Trading at EverMarkets, Quantitative Trader at Sun Trading LLC, and various positions in quantitative research and trading at Radix Trading LLC, Eladian Partners, Knight Capital Group, and Citadel. Mark holds both M.S. and B.S. degrees in Electrical & Computer Engineering and Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University, complemented by an early education at Hunter College High School.
