Chad Effertz

Chad Effertz is an experienced professional in the agricultural science sector, currently serving as the Head of Field Technology at Kula Bio since January 2024. Prior to this role, Chad held significant positions at UPL as Head of Development NAM from February 2019 to December 2023, and at Arysta LifeScience where responsibilities included Head of R&D, Herbicide Marketing Manager, and Herbicide Development Manager from February 2008 to August 2023. Chad began a career in agro-tech as a Research Scientist from August 2002 to January 2008 and previously worked at Bayer CropScience as Development Manager from February 1995 to September 2002. Chad holds a Master's degree in Crop and Weed Science from North Dakota State University, earned between 1989 and 1994.
