Kara Armstrong

Kara Armstrong is an experienced designer currently serving as Designer II at L.L.Bean since November 2022, focusing on Women’s Active and Swim. Prior to this role, Kara held various design positions at Athleta from August 2017 to December 2022, including Designer, Associate Designer, and Assistant Designer. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Design from the University of Cincinnati, completed in April 2017. Kara's internship experiences include contributions to Brett Johnson Collection, For Love & Lemons, and The Row, where responsibilities ranged from design meetings and fabric sourcing to sample production and pattern-making.
