Michael Mahoney

Michael Mahoney currently serves as the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer at L.L.Bean since July 2016. Prior to this role, Mahoney worked as an Attorney and Lobbyist at Mahoney Jackson / Federle Mahoney from September 2008 to June 2016, and as Chief Legal Counsel in the Office of the Governor of Maine from January 2007 to September 2008. Mahoney began a legal career as an Associate/Partner Attorney at Preti Flaherty from March 2000 to December 2006. Mahoney earned a J.D. with honors from Boston College Law School between 1994 and 1997, and a BA in English, also with honors, from the College of the Holy Cross from 1990 to 1994.
