Sameth al-Basith

Sameth Al-Basith serves as the Academy Head Coach for LA Galaxy since April 2017, focusing on player-centered development that enhances technical skills, tactical understanding, and vital social skills among aspiring soccer players. Previously, Sameth held the position of Pre-Academy Head Coach at LA Galaxy South Bay from February 2014 to August 2018, managing teams of various age groups and skill levels. Experience includes a role as Coach, Camp Director, and Marketing Director with Curt Onalfo Soccer-Skills Training and a study visit at West Ham United FC Premier League Academy. Additional coaching experience encompasses volunteer assistant coaching for LA Galaxy II and directing LA Galaxy Soccer Camps. Sameth's educational background features a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Marymount California University, as well as earlier studies at East Tennessee State University. Prior to coaching, Sameth played youth soccer for Cardiff City FC and West Ham United FC.
