Glenn MacMillan

General Manager, Development, Engineering & Restoration at Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority (LSRCA)

Glenn MacMillan currently serves as the General Manager of Development, Engineering & Restoration at the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority, a position held since January 2021, after previously holding the title of General Manager, Planning, Development and Restoration Services. From 2010 to January 2021, Glenn acted as the President of the Canadian Chapter of the International Erosion Control Association, which focuses on enhancing natural heritage resiliency through education in erosion and sediment control. Glenn also served as a Board Director for the Great Lakes Chapter and held the role of Senior Manager, Water and Energy at the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority from 1989 to January 2021. Additional contributions include membership on the BRE Global Standing Panel and participation in the American Society of Civil Engineers' Permeable Interlocking Concrete Pavement Committee. Glenn's educational background includes a Civil Engineering degree from Ryerson, obtained from 1981 to 1985.

Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority (LSRCA) is a local watershed management organization incorporated under the Conservation Authorities Act (1946). Since 1951, we have been dedicated to conserving, restoring and managing the Lake Simcoe watershed. We envision a thriving environment that inspires and sustains us for generations to come.
