Lydia Maglara

Lydia Maglara is an experienced human resources leader currently serving as Chief Human Resources Officer at LAMDA Development S.A. since September 2022. With a robust background in HR roles, Lydia previously held the position of VP HR Shared Services Head for Asia & EMEA at MetLife, where significant achievements included launching service delivery hubs in the EMEA region. Prior to this, Lydia served as VP, HR Head for Eastern & Southern Europe at MetLife, focusing on succession planning and HR strategies. Earlier experience includes roles as Regional HR Director for the Balkans at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. and various HR positions at Procter & Gamble, INFO QUEST S.A., and PwC. Lydia holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Baker College and a BS in Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University, along with diplomas in Hotel Management from IHTTI School of Hotel Management and Swiss Alpine Center.
