Vijay Mali

Vijay Mali is an accomplished engineering professional with over two decades of experience in mechanical design and digital transformation. Currently serving as the Digital Transformation Manager at Lamprell in Sharjah since July 2012, Vijay previously held the position of Engineering Manager - Structural. Prior to Lamprell, Vijay worked at Maritime Industrial Services Co. Ltd. from December 2005 to June 2012 as a Senior Structural Engineer and Senior Pressure Vessel Engineer, managing the design and analysis of various static and offshore structures using advanced engineering methodologies. Vijay's earlier experience includes positions as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Toyo India and a Research Trainee in Tokyo, Japan, focusing on CFD and FEA for process equipment in the oil and gas sector, as well as a Project Trainee at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. Vijay holds a Master’s degree in CAD/CAM & Automation from the University of Mumbai and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shivaji University.
