Janine Edgerton-Avin

Janine Edgerton-Avin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations, trade compliance, and logistics. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Lantern Ventures since September 2021, Janine previously held the role of Android Partnerships Manager at Google, driving significant commercial projects that transformed a multi-billion dollar business. With a strong background in trade compliance, Janine worked in various capacities at Google and KPMG UK, focusing on customs and international trade law. Earlier experiences include pivotal roles at the World Food Programme, where Janine contributed to humanitarian logistics and procurement. Janine holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from The University of British Columbia and a Master of Laws in International Commercial and Maritime Law from Swansea University, complemented by a Certificate in Humanitarian Logistics from the Fritz Institute.
