Justin Yang started their work experience in 2015 as a Customer Experience Associate at Merrill Lynch, where they provided support to clients and managed marketing materials. In 2017, they worked as an Intern UX Designer at Gnarly Project. In 2018, they joined Moola Inc as a UX/UI Designer, where they conducted research studies and optimized the workflow for cryptocurrency. Justin then worked at Later in 2020 as a UX Designer, where they collaborated with the research team and mentored junior designers.

Justin Yang attended UC Irvine from 2013 to 2017 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Social Behavior, with a minor in Business Management. In 2018, they enrolled in a full-time UX/UI Design course at BrainStation. The following year, in 2019, they completed an Intro to Front-End Development course at Lighthouse Labs.
