Mendy Slaton has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. In 2009, Mendy started their career as a Program Coordinator and Translation Intern at Fundación Paraguaya. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as an English Teacher at the Ministry of Education of Spain. In 2012, they joined the Academy of Art University in an Admissions role.
Moving on, Mendy worked at Betts Recruiting from 2013 to 2015, first as a Recruiter and later as a Business Development and Recruiting Manager. In 2015, they transitioned to GitHub as a Lead Recruiter, responsible for building the initial Sales and Marketing team across different regions. Mendy also held the roles of Program Manager, EBC and Enablement, and Senior Program Manager during their tenure at GitHub.
In 2019, Mendy joined Instabase, initially working in a Strategy role and eventually becoming the Chief of Staff to the CRO. They served in these positions until 2021. Currently, Mendy is working at Lattice in a role focused on Talent Strategy and Operations since May 2022.
Mendy Slaton holds a Master's Degree in International Relations, Security and Development from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Prior to that, Mendy completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Global Studies, as well as Spanish Language, Literature, Culture, and Civilization from the University of the Pacific.
