Scott Albert is a seasoned venture partner and educator with extensive experience in venture capital and business development. As co-founder and venture partner at Aurora Funds since 1994, Scott has played a pivotal role in identifying and nurturing investments, particularly in North Carolina’s B2B SaaS sector through Cofounders Capital since 2018. In addition to investment roles, Scott has served as a professor of practice at UNC Kenan-Flagler since 2011, teaching MBA students in business plan analysis and entrepreneurship. Scott holds board and advisory positions with several innovative start-ups, including EasyVote Solutions, Feedtrail, VADE Group, Altis Biosystems, and WalletFi. Scott’s academic background includes an MBA in Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BSE in Electrical Engineering from Duke University.
