Carlos Cabrera is an experienced professional in the field of biotechnology and process engineering, currently serving as the Managing Director and Founder of Greencovery since May 2018, which focuses on promoting a circular economy. As an Entrepreneur in Residence at StartHub Wageningen since June 2023, Carlos provides valuable insights to early-stage entrepreneurs. In addition, Carlos acts as a Wageningen Ambassador, connecting Wageningen University & Research with the broader community. Previously, Carlos held positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Guest Researcher, contributing to innovative research in carbon dioxide capture and wastewater treatment technology. Carlos holds a PhD in Bioprocess Engineering from Delft University of Technology, an MSc in Biotechnology from Wageningen University & Research, and a Licenciatura in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de Costa Rica UCR.
