William Moss

William Moss is a physicist with extensive experience, currently serving at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory since September 1981, focusing on areas such as traumatic brain injury, explosive dynamics, and computational analyses of nuclear explosions. Moss has held consulting and visiting scientist roles at prestigious institutions, including Stanford University and the University of California, San Francisco, where expertise in image analysis and algorithm development for biological structures was demonstrated. Academic credentials include a BS in Physics from Caltech and both MS and PhD degrees in Engineering & Applied Science from the University of California, Davis. Prior to his current role, Moss contributed to computational shock physics research at SRI International.
