Joona Rahko

Joona Rahko is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Layer AI, Joona leads the development of AI tools for major gaming enterprises. Previously, Joona held various roles at Unity, culminating as a Senior Principal Software Engineer, where technical leadership was provided to a large organization, fostering innovation and implementing key initiatives. Joona has also founded Wwwonderful Ltd., creating web applications for various European clients, and has held positions at Ocado Technology and the University of Oulu, focusing on front-end development and clinical data management systems. Joona holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering, along with Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Engineering and Business Administration and Management.
