Alexandra Jenkins

Alexandra Jenkins is an experienced elementary educator with a strong background in creating engaging and effective learning environments for students. Currently serving as a 2nd Grade Teacher at Leander ISD since July 2023, Alexandra implemented tailored lessons and mentored fellow teachers. Previous experience includes roles as a 1st Grade Teacher at Round Rock ISD and Leander ISD, where Alexandra developed interdisciplinary units and used data-driven strategies to enhance student learning. Additionally, Alexandra has experience as a 4th Grade Teacher and substitute teacher, alongside contributions as a Camp Instructor for STEM workshops. Alexandra holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Human Development and Family Science from North Dakota State University and Elementary Education from Valley City State University, demonstrating a commitment to professional development in the field of education.
