Danny Pummill is an experienced professional with a diverse background in various industries. In 2008, they served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Health and Medical Oversight, providing strategic planning and operations expertise for personnel and national security matters. From 2010 to 2012, they worked for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, first as the Deputy Director of Compensation and Pension, overseeing direct payments to veterans, dependents, and survivors, and later as the Director of the DoD VBA Program Office, implementing transformation initiatives and programs to support members of the Armed Forces. Danny Pummill has a extensive education history. Danny completed the Advanced Management Program at The Wharton School in 2008, specializing in business. In 2003, they obtained a Master of Science degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College. Prior to that, they earned a degree in International Security Strategy, with a specialization in North African Affairs, from the Army War College in 2001. In 1996, Pummill earned a Master of Arts degree in Military History and Research from the Command and General Staff College. As for their undergraduate education, they attended Northern Michigan University from 1980 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement.
In addition to their formal education, Pummill also obtained certifications in Lean Six Sigma and Programming Planning Budgeting and Execution from the Department of the Army. The exact dates of when they obtained these certifications are not provided.
