Steven Lam has extensive experience in patent law and biochemistry, currently serving as Principal and Patent Agent at ROBIC since October 2014. In December 2023, ROBIC became part of the IPH Limited group. Prior to this role, Steven held the positions of Partner and Patent Agent at Goudreau Gage Dubuc from August 2008 to September 2014 and Patent Agent as well as Technical Adviser - Patents at Pfizer for a brief period in early 2008. Earlier in their career, Steven worked as a Senior Scientist at Coley Pharmaceutical Group and as a Scientist at Pfizer. Steven holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from McGill University, completed in 2006.
