Diana Goncalves Schmidt is an Assistant Professor and Researcher at the Liquid Crystals Institute, Kent State University since May 2019. Previous research experience includes positions at Technische Universität Dresden (2017-2019), Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden (2013-2017), Goethe-Universität Frankfurt (2008-2010) as an Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral fellow, and the University of Konstanz (2007-2008).
