Robert Harris

Robert Harris, PhD, PMP, DASM, CSM has a diverse work experience spanning several prestigious institutions. Robert started their career at AT&T as a Product Manager, where they were responsible for project performance, pricing, market site selection, competitive analysis, and vendor selection. Afterward, they joined Realogy Holdings Corp. as Director of Franchise Development, covering the Northern Illinois, Wisconsin, and Northern Indiana regions. Robert then transitioned to the City Colleges of Chicago as a Business Instructor, teaching real estate, small business marketing, and business basics.

Harris later joined Milestone Projects as a Senior Project Manager, where they developed and managed research projects, wrote white papers, designed training programs, and conducted seminars. Robert moved on to Capella University as an Adjunct Business Faculty Member, receiving awards for curriculum development and exceptional service. Robert also served as a Senior Lecturer at Benedictine University, teaching various business courses and being a part of the faculty mentor team.

Harris then joined the University of Phoenix, first as Program Chair for Academic Affairs, School of Business, where they were responsible for campus management and quality assurance. Later, they took on the role of Committee Chair for the School of Doctoral Studies, providing coaching and guidance to doctoral candidates. Currently, they are working as Program Director for the MS Project Management and Assistant Professor of Organization Leadership at Lewis University.

With their extensive experience in academia, project management, and business instruction, Harris brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their roles.

Robert Harris, PhD, PMP, DASM, CSM received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organization Development from Benedictine University. Robert also holds a Masters of Science in Marketing Communication (MSMC) from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from The Ohio State University. In addition, they obtained a Master Online Teaching Certification in E-Learning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. As for certifications, they are a Project Management Professional (PMP) issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and also holds certifications in Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Robert has additional certifications in Telecommunication from DePaul University and has completed various training programs offered by the PMI and other institutions.
